Renaissance Jax Programs

Our Programs

Renaissance Jax provides opportunities involving FIRST Robotics, STEM education, and mentor-driven experiences.

FIRST ® Progression of Programs

Renaissance Jax is the Program Delivery Partner for FIRST LEGO League in Northeast and Central Florida. We also manage a FIRST Tech Challenge League and have an in-house FIRST Robotics Competition team in Northeast Florida. By providing the FIRST progression of programs, Renaissance Jax is able to serve students starting in elementary school up to high school (k-12).

For more than 30 years, the mission of FIRST has been to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. FIRST LEGO League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children ages 4-16* through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem solving experience through a guided, global robotics program, helping today's students and teachers build a better future together.

The three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.

Summer Programs

Each year, we host camps that provide the FIRST experience in a condensed time frame with varying additions, such as mask-making, dancing, and manufacturing. We partner with companies to provide special offerings with in-depth tours of facilities, workforce development, and even parent-child on-site fun. Camps have been offered for elementary, middle, and high school students.
