VOLUNTEER AS A REVIEWER

FIRST LEGO League Explore teams can choose to participate in Festivals, where students showcase their team models and posters and share what they’ve learned with volunteers, friends, and family. 

At Festivals, we have a high need for Reviewers. Reviewers review the teams' models and Show Me Posters, then collaborates with other reviewers to assign awards to all teams. During closing ceremonies, reviewers join the emcee on stage to hand out awards.

All volunteers must be screened as part of the FIRST Youth Protection Program.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Outgoing personality
  • Strong assessment skills
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to effectively relate to youth aged 6-10 and be a role model at all times
  • Knowledge of awards process
  • Experience working with youth ages 6-10
