2020-21 Kickoff After-Party

Coaches, mentors, volunteers, parents, and students attended the Renaissance Jax/CFL FIRST LEGO League Explore and FIRST LEGO League Challenge Virtual Kickoff After-Party!

The Program Delivery Partners for the Explore and Challenge programs in Northeast and Central Florida presented the season's challenges and answered questions on a range of topics including how to get involved in FIRST LEGO League Explore and the robot game and innovation project for FIRST LEGO League Challenge.

Participants got to meet our FIRST LEGO League Explore Partners Joyce Walters, Kalai Sankar, and Joe Moseley. Our FIRST LEGO League Challenge Partners are Mark McCombs and Krystal Martz.

Many thanks to two of our FIRST LEGO League Challenge Regional Head Referees, Lisa Lovelace and Brady Merkel, for providing insight on Robot Game Updates and where to find them, what those white bricks are for in your Challenge Sets, and more.

Krystal provided a brief breakdown of how to tackle the Innovation Project and highlighted some key changes to requirements for teams this season.
